I’m always trying to turn things upside down and see if they look any better.

Our Approach

How We Work

01

Publishing

We don’t publish books about objects, we publish catalysts for inspiration. Our design and publishing approach is tailored to your collection, audience, marketing, and distribution goals.

02

Design

More than 25 years of design experience informs everything we produce. Our name reflects the way we approach creative work. Art considers the object itself: how it was made, experienced, and understood. Anthropology looks at the people, histories, cultures, and ideas surrounding it. We bring these two perspectives together in every project.

03

Craftsmanship

Every detail shapes the experience. From materials and typography to production and finish, we ensure the final product is thoughtfully made.
