Work
Art & Anthropology Press is a graphic design studio at 10 Carpenter Avenue in Newburgh. For more than 20 years we have designed identities, books, print, exhibitions, and websites for museums, universities, nonprofits, civic groups, and small businesses across the Hudson Valley and beyond.
What We Design
Logos, visual systems, and the guidelines that keep them consistent across print, web, and signage.
Books, catalogs, annual reports, magazines, and maps, from manuscript through typesetting, cover design, and print production.
Brochures, postcards, posters, program guides, and the everyday print a working organization needs.
Banners, wall graphics, timelines, and interpretive signage for museums, libraries, and galleries.
Responsive, search-optimized sites on Shopify, Squarespace, and WordPress, built to match the brand.
Photography, cataloging, and publication for artists, collectors, and estates.
We are a small studio, so you work directly with the designer. No account managers and no handoffs. We ask a lot of questions up front, show you real options, and stay on budget.

FAQ
Yes. We are based in Newburgh, NY and work across the Hudson Valley, New York State, and nationally. Most projects run remotely with in-person meetings by appointment.
It depends on scope. A logo and basic identity, a printed brochure, and a full book are very different jobs. Tell us what you need and we’ll send a clear proposal with a fixed price before any work starts.
We manage print production for everything we design: spec, quotes, proofs, and press checks with trusted regional and national printers.
